Is computing becoming a transdiscipline? This question was triggered by a recent Times Higher Education Supplement article by Neil McBride of De Montford University, online at: http://www.thes.co.uk/current_edition/story.aspx?story_id=2035160. It's a pretty challenging article, and raises some interesting questions. The key point he makes is that we should consider radically transforming computer science teaching, because as a field it is more or less dead.
