Meet-O-Matic is a meeting planning application with a difference you can experience for yourself in 2 minutes, with no registration ever required. Most workgroup software (groupware) to deal with schedule, diary, timetable and meeting constraint problems lies unused after the first few meeting scheduling experiences.
For years I have been frustrated by iCal and the fact that, unlike Outlook, you can't have private meetings, which are kept confidential when posted through DAV. Guess what? A colleague of mine, Colin Beagrie, accidentally found that if you put the event name in angle brackets, as in <Job Interview>, the meeting is not made public. This does not seem to be documented anywhere, but it worked for me, as well as Colin.
I wonder why we are both so keen on private meetings all of a sudden.
